Northern Tier Sports ReportA big week of winter athletics as NTL hoops had some big games, while milestones were hit on the wrestling mats.
For the boys Wyalusing’s Isaiah Harvey and NEB’s Cooper Brown both hit milestones. Harvey went 5-1 this week as he earned his 100th career win and helped the Rams take top four in the District IV Duals. Brown scored his 1,000th point in a big win over NPL, securing that victory with two free throws with one second left. The two are the Male Co-Athletes of the Week.
On the girls’ side NEB went 3-0 this week, including big wins over Towanda and NPL. Mallorie Maynard averaged 13 PPG, 8.3 RPG, 4.3 SPG, and 3.3 APG, while getting four blocks against the Knights, to be the Female Athlete of the Week.
