Northern Tier Sports ReportCANTON — Nine different players scored as Canton rolled past Sayre, 64-7, during NTL girls’ hoops action Saturday.
The Warriors led 19-1 after the first quarter and never looked back.
Cailyn Van Noy had 19 points, and four assists to lead Canton as Emma McGhee had a career high 11 points - including three 3-balls.
Stella Rockwell, Brenna Van Noy, and Cheyanne Fitch had six points apiece. Rockwell added seven steals, as Fitch grabbed six boards.
Danah Wesneski, Daveian Crowley, Alexis McRoberts, and Lydia Roupp had four points each. Wesneski added six steals, and three assists, as Crowley, and McRoberts had six boards apiece.
Cailyn Van Noy had two 3-balls to pace Canton in the opening frame, with McGhee adding one.
The Warriors tacked on 16 more points in the second quarter behind five from Cailyn Van Noy, as they took a 35-4 lead at the half.
Cailyn led their 16-point third quarter effort with eight more points, while in the fourth Brenna had two 3-balls to pace Canton. McGhee added five points, as well, in the final frame.
Canton (16-5) ends the regular season at Williamson on Monday.
