ON TAP TODAY: NEB BOYS GO FOR D4 TITLE, TROY GIRLS FACE THE DEFENDING STATE CHAMPS, AND DISTRICT SWIMMERS HIT THE POOL (2026-02-25)

Northern Tier Sports Report
After a slow start to the week things pick up in a big way with NEB boys playing a district title, Troy girls taking on the defending state champs in a semifinal, and the first day of district swimming.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL
NEB vs Muncy at Montoursville, 7:30 p.m.: The second of a back to back - Muncy and SCA will be playing in the girls final at 6 - as the Panthers look to knock off the Indians. Muncy defeated NEB in overtime in a semifinal last year.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Troy vs Loyalsock at Mansfield University, 7 p.m.: The Lady Trojans get their shot at the defending state champs. Troy hasn’t a lost game in 2026, while Loyalsock won their final five regular season contests.

SWIMMING & DIVING
District IV Championships at Williamsport, 5:30 p.m.: The first day of the 2-day event will open with the 200 medley relay and end with the 200 free relay. In between will be the 200 free, 200 IM, 50 free, and 100 fly.
