While it won’t feel like it most of the week spring sports are due to get started on Tuesday with a baseball and boys’ tennis slated to go. Mother Nature, though, may still have a few surprises with heavy rain expected on Monday, followed by January-esque temperatures moving in.
BASEBALL
Tuesday, March 17
Elk Lake at Wyalusing, 4:30 p.m.: Wyalusing’s season opener last week got moved, so this may be their season opener. The two teams have had pretty good games throughout the years.
Wednesday, March 18
Sayre at Wyalusing, 4:30 p.m.: These two teams try to play part-II as the Rams as their game got moved from last Friday.
Saturday, March 21
Athens at Towanda, 11 a.m.: The Knights open their season with the defending league champs Athens as the NTL season gets going for everybody.
CV at NEB, 11 a.m.: Baseball returns to Panther Lane with the Panthers hosting NTL Small School power CV.
Canton at Sayre, 11 a.m.: The Warriors hit the road to the valley to open their season as they look to have a bounce back year.
NP-Mansfield at Wyalusing, 11 a.m.: It could be busy week for the Rams if they can get all their games in, wit this being their third game in five days.
SOFTBALL
Thursday, March 19
Wyalusing at Blue Ridge, 4:30 p.m.: The Rams open the season on the road as they travel to across Susquehanna County to Blue Ridge.
Saturday, March 21
Canton at Sayre, 11 a.m.: The new coaching staff at Canton hits the road for their first contest as they take on Small School rival Sayre.
Troy at Wellsboro, 11 a.m.: The Trojans head West to start the season as they face Large School rival Wellsboro.
Athens at Towanda, 11 a.m.: A pair of close games last year as the Knights open with the defending league champs.
NP-Liberty at Wyalusing, 11 a.m.: The Rams open the league season with NTL power NP-Liberty at home.

Towanda at CV, 4 p.m.: The Knights open the season on the road with a league match.
Thursday, March 19
Galeton at Towanda, 4 p.m.: The home opener for Towanda against non-league foe, Galeton.
