NTL WRESTLING: WYALUSING POSTS STRONG 2025-2026 SEASON (2026-03-19)

Wyalusing wrestling had their best season this decade in 2025-2026, going 7-1 in the NTL, and 18-9 overall as they made the top four at the District IV Duals.

The Rams opened with a loss to eventual D4 Duals champions Montgomery (46-15), but then went 4-2 at the Gary Woodruff Memorial Duals.

They followed that with three straight league wins over Troy (46-17), Athens (41-37), and NEB (42-25).

After going 4-2 at the Line Mountain Duals they took home four straight league wins, beating Wellsboro (71-4), Canton (52-20), Towanda (52-19), and NPL (60-13). The win over Towanda brought the Standing Stone Trophy back to Wyalusing.

They ended the league season with a close loss to Williamson (35-29).

In the opening round of the District IV Duals they defeated South Williamsport (54-16) to get to Milton.

At Milton they opened with another loss to Montgomery, but then got wins over Williamson (47-28) and Line Mountain (38-320 to get to the third place match. They fell to Montoursville (43-21) to take fourth.

They would take second at North Section, crowning two champions in Jonathan Earle and Ethan Vanderpool.

Earle, Vanderpool, Daniel Fox, and Cole Patrick all made it to regionals, with Fox punching his ticket to states, where he went 0-2.

The senior heavy team had three wrestlers earn their 100th career win - Earle (38-12), Patrick (40-6), and Isaiah Harvey (28-6) - with Vanderpool (22-16), and Reuben Kinney (24-17) also having strong seasons.

Fox (30-17) took a big step forward as a junior while they also return Conner Earle (20-22), Bostyn McMicken (17-17), Brenden Wells (14-18), Logan Wood (26-17), and Griffin Sheldon (16-22).
