Northern Tier Sports ReportSOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — Troy’s Brendan Gilliland tossed a 1-hitter but the Trojans fell 2-0 to South Williamsport during a non-league baseball pitcher’s duel Saturday.
South was able to push across runs in the third and sixth innings to get the win.
Gilliland went all six innings, striking out one with two walks, one hit, and two runs, one of which was earned.
Mason Smith (2-for-3) led the team at the plate, as Gilliland (1-for-3) and Logan Loxley (1-for-3) also had hits.
