NTL BASEBALL: WYALUSING FALLS AT ATHENS (2026-04-04)

ATHENS — Wyalusing fell to Athens, 11-1 in six innings, during NTL baseball action Saturday.

The Wildcats jumped out early with a four run first inning. The Rams responded with a run in the third, but Athens scored in the final three innings - two in the fourth, four in the fifth, and one in the sixth - to secure the win.

Marshal Huston (1-for-3) had an RBI, while Landry Tinna (1-for-2) scored their run. Campbell Carr (1-for-2) and Griffin Sheldon (1-for-3) also had hits.

Owen Brown started, and went the first two innings with no strikeouts, three walks, four hits, and four earned runs.

Carr tossed the next 2 2/3-innings with no strikeouts, no walks, six hits, and six runs, four of which were earned.

Dawson Biza went the final two-thirds, striking out one with two walks, one hit, and one unearned run.

Nick Grazul (2-for-3) had two doubles and two runs scored to lead the Wildcats.

The Rams would rally with two outs for their run in the third as Tinna and Sheldon had back to back hits. Michael Phillips would load the bases on an error, then Huston singled in Tinna for their run.
