NTL SOFTBALL: KNAPP'S SHUTOUT LEADS TROY PAST WILLIAMSON (2026-04-10)

TIOGA JUNCTION — Troy’s Erinn Knapp threw a 4-hit shutout as Troy topped Williamson, 4-0, during NTL softball action Friday.

Knapp fanned 11 while issuing no walks in the win, while she went 1-for-2 with a run scored at the plate.

Lauren Reed (2-for-4) had a multi-hit game for Troy as Sydnee Bellows (1-for-4) drove in two runs.

Izzy Renzi (1-for-3) had a run scored, and an RBI, with Aubree Kenyon, and Danielle Roy both crossing home. Maddyson Muir (1-for-3) and Haidyn Watson (1-for-4) each had hits.

Troy scored all of their runs in the second inning - and all with two outs. 

Knapp opened the inning by hitting a single, then two batters later Kenyon drew a 1-out walk. After a second out Knapp scored on an error off the bat of Roy to get on the scoreboard.

Renzi then singled in Kenyon, while Bellows would drive in Roy and Renzi with a hit.

Troy (2-4) will host Canton on Saturday with a 3 p.m. start.
