NTL TRACK & FIELD: TOWANDA'S WOODRUFF TAKES SECOND IN JAVELIN AT SELINSGROVE INVITE (2026-04-12)

SELINSGROVE — Towanda’s Brynn Woodruff was the runner-up in the javelin at the Selinsgrove Invitational on Saturday.

Woodruff threw 123-feet, 3-inches to take silver, just three inches behind the winner.

Maris Cobb was third in the 3200 (11:48), while Marin Maynard was fifth in the pole vault (9-feet, 6-inches).

Mya Maynard was seventh in the discus (100-feet, 11-inches) and eighth in the shot put (32-feet, 8-inches) with teammate Eliana Cook taking sixth in the shot put (34-feet, 1 1/4-inches).

Natalyn Morris tied for sixth in the high jump (4-feet, 8-inches), with the Black Knight 4x800 relay taking sixth in 10:46.70.

On the boys’ side Jazick Brown was fifth in the 400 (50.67) and seventh in the 200 (23.29), while just missing the medals in the 100 with an 11.19.

Freshman Emmett Klees was fifth in the 3200 in 9:58.63, as Kole Heyer was sixth in the high jump at 5-feet, 8-inches.
