NTL BOYS TENNIS: TOWANDA EDGES NPL (2026-04-28)

TOWANDA — Towanda held on to beat NP-Liberty, 3-2, during NTL boys’ tennis action Tuesday.

The teams split the four singles matches with Towanda taking first and fourth singles, as NPL won second and third.

In doubles action the Knights won two of the three to get the win.

Towanda’s Bayley Poll swept the first singles match over Ray Nickerson, 6-0, 6-0, while at fourth singles Black Knight Emma Ackley won 6-3, 6-3 against Toby Not.

At second singles NPL’s Silas Boiywo won 4-6, 6-2, 10-9 over Towanda’s Matrix McCarter, while at third singles NPL’s Andre Reed won 6-3, 6-4 over Kellen Colton.

Towanda’s first doubles squad of Poll and Colton defeated Nickerson and Boiywo 6-2, as Towanda’s team of Ackley and Brody Hennessy won 6-4 against Aiden Deitrick and Nolt at second doubles.

NPL’s third doubles squad of Reed and Jediel Oscasio-Vasquez beat Travyn Lewis and Ethan Lane 6-2.

In exhibition action Towanda’s Levi Snyder won 6-4, 6-2 over Dan Fortney while the NPL duo of Fortney and McCarter beat Dalila Vega and Snyder 6-2.
