NEB GIRLS TAKE FOURTH AT JH TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS (2026-05-05)

WELLSBORO — The NEB girls track and field team took fourth at the NTL Junior High Championships on Tuesday.

The Panthers finished with 48.5 points for the top five finish. For the boys NEB was sixth with 31 points.

Summer Morris won the discus in 69-feet, 9 1/2-inches, while taking third in the shot put at 27-feet, 4-inches.

Trinity Fick was second in the 100 (14.06) for the Lady Panthers, while also taking third in the 200 (29.65). Fick was also fourth in the high jump at 4-feet, 4-inches.

Julia Gray was fifth in the shot put at 26-feet, 1-inch.

The NEB 4x100 was fourth in 59.28.

On the boys’ side Marcelo Ramires was second in the high jump at 4-feet, 10-inches. Ramires was third in the shot put at 32-feet, 5-inches.

Reuben Kapr (97-feet, 4 1/2-inches) and Gerald Eastman (91-feet, 9-inches) went 2-3 in the discus.
