Northern Tier Sports ReportBLOOMSBURG — Sullivan County baseball fell 3-0 to CMVT during Mid-Penn baseball action Wednesday.
The Rams scored a run in the bottom of the first, then tacked on two more in the fourth.
Carter Blasi (1-for-4), Cole Barto (1-for-3), Garrett Burke (1-for-3), Marshall Strain (1-for-2), and Ryan Murray (1-for-1) all had hits for the Griffins.
Madden Fries started, and went 4 1/3-innings with nine strikeouts, seven walks, two hits, and three runs, one of them earned.
Tucker Blasi tossed the final 1 2/3-innings with two hits, and four strikeouts.
Sullivan County (2-14) travels to Benton on Friday.
