NTL SOFTBALL: FLUCK, BLY LEAD WYALUSING PAST SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT (2026-05-07)

WILLIAMSPORT — South Williamsport led early but Wyalusing pulled away with a 6-run seventh for the 10-1 win during non-league softball action Thursday.

The Mounties led 1-0 after one, with the Rams taking the lead with a 2-run third. They tacked on two more runs in the fifth, then scored six in the seventh for the 9-run win.

Addisyn Bly (3-for-5) had a triple with two runs scored, and 2-RBI, as Addison Fluck (3-for-4) had three doubles with 3-RBI.

Riley O’Connor (2-for-2) scored, and drove in a run as Treanna Nickeson (1-for-3), and Emily Johns (1-for-4) both scored, and had an RBI.

Callee Warner (1-for-4) had 2-RBI with a run scored with Kirra Millard (1-for-3) driving in a run. Raelea Harvey scored twice running for Fluck as Josie Ferris (1-for-2) and Kyla Carpenter both crossed home.

Fluck struck out four in the win, allowing three walks, four hits, and the one run.

In the third Johns and Bly would reach to start the inning. South retired the next two batters, but Fluck doubled them in to put the Rams up 2-1.

Bly led off the fifth with a triple, then score don a Nickeson ground out. 

Ferris would restart the rally with a walk but was caught at home on a Fluck double. O’Connor, though, singled in Harvey for the 4-1 lead.

Nickeson and Ferris led off the seventh with back to back hits, with Fluck doubling in Nickeson for a 5-1 lead.

An O’Connor walk would load the bases, setting up a Millard fly out that scored Ferris.

A Carpenter walk reloaded the bases, followed by Warner singling in Harvey and O’Connor to make it 8-1.

Johns drove in Carpenter, followed by Bly driving in Warner to make it 10-1. Bly’s hit injured the pitcher, and South called the game.

Wyalusing (13-5) is at Wellsboro on Friday.
