Northern Tier Sports ReportATHENS — Jazick Brown won the 100 meter title at the NTL Track and Field Championships on Friday.
Brown won in 11.56, while also taking second in the 400 in 50.70.
Freshman Emmett Klees also won two medal, taking fourth in the 3200 (10:13.62), and fifth in the 1600 (4:33.51).
Tanner Vanderpool was second in the pole vault (11-feet, 6-inches), Markell Garner took third in the shot put (45-feet, 6-inches), as Kolton McPeak was fourth in the javelin (143-feet, 1-inch).
Keegan Stroud took fifth in the high jump (5-feet, 8-inches), with Kole Heyer (5-feet, 8-inches) in sixth.
Aiden Blokzyl was sixth in the 110 hurdles (18.16), Dom Miller was sixth in the javelin (133-feet, 6-inches), and Joey Montonya took seventh in the javelin (132-feet, 10-inches).
The 4x800 was third in 9:02.09, the 4x100 was fifth in 47.80, and the 4x400 was fifth in 3:44.51.
Towanda took fifth as a team with 74 points.
