NTL TRACK & FIELD: EARLE, GARTLAND LEAD WYALUSING BOYS AT NTL CHAMPIONSHIPS (2026-05-09)

ATHENS — Jonathan Earle and Shay Gartland both claimed titles at the NTL Track and Field Championships Friday.

Earle pole vaulted a new PR of 13-feet, 6-inches to claim gold while Gartland won the long jump in 20-feet, 3 1/2-inches. Earle was also fourth in the 110 hurdles in 17.91.

Joshua Palfreyman took second in the discus (141-feet, 2-inches) and fourth in the shot put (43-feet, 6 3/4-inches), with Tyler Caplan taking second in the triple jump (41-feet, 2-inches).

Jack Fischer was a 2-time medalist, taking third in the 110 hurdles (17.36) and fourth in the 300 hurdles (44.61), as Ethan Vanderpool was third in the javelin (148-feet, 9-inches).

Aiden Neiley took third in the 800 (2:06.59), Sullivan McCracken was fourth in the pole vault (10-feet, 6-inches), Dominic Trowbridge was fifth in the 200 (24.05), John Kerin took seventh in the high jump (5-feet, 6-inches), with Jasai Latini seventh in the discus (115-feet, 5-inches).

James Weaver was eighth in the high jump at 5-feet, 6-inches, Tyler Grover took eighth in the pole vault at 10-feet, and Reuben Kinney was eighth in the javelin at 130-feet.

The 4x100 was third in 45.89, the 4x800 was fifth in 9:41.66, and the 4x400 took seventh in 3:47.28.

Wyalusing was fourth with 96 points.
