Northern Tier Sports ReportATHENS — Freshman Lia Fischer claimed the 100 hurdle NTL Track and Field Title at the league championship meet on Friday.
Fischer won the high hurdles in 16.13, while also taking second in the triple jump at 34-feet, 3 1/2-inches.
Vayda Rought was third in the long jump (16-feet, 4 1/2-inches) while taking fourth in the 100 (13.11), with Jenna Morningstar second in the long jump (16-feet, 10-inches) and third in the high jump (4-feet, 8-inches).
Ava King was sixth in the triple jump (32-feet, 7-inches) while taking eighth in the long jump (15-feet, 3 3/4-inches).
Story Newell was fifth in the pole vault 7-feet, Sierra Gromley took sixth in the discus at 85-feet, 7 1/2-inches, Addi Vanderpool was sixth in the javelin at 91-feet, 1-inch, Megan King took eighth in the 300 hurdles in 52.67, and Aleta O’Connor was eighth in the 400 in 1:05.90.
The 4x800 (11:28.52) was fourth, the 4x100 (52.42) came in fifth, and the 4x400 (4:40.88) finished sixth.
The Lady Rams were fifth overall with 69.5 points.
