AOW: TOWANDA'S BROWN, WYALUSING'S FISCHER, TROY'S WATSON HAVE BIG WEEKS (2026-05-10)

An exciting week with top notch performances and edge of your seat action. Several teams either clinched playoff spots or kept their postseason hopes alive, while the NTL held their championships.

On the girls’ side Wyalusing’s Lia Fischer and Troy’s Haidyn Watson showed this past week. Fischer won the 100 hurdles and took second in the triple jump at the NTL Championships, while Watson went 7-for-15 with two home runs, two doubles, six runs scored, and 5-RBI as she helped keep the Trojan playoffs hopes alive. The two are the Female Co-Athletes of the Week.

For the boys Towanda’s Jazick Brown was a champion in the 100, and took second in the 400 at the NTL Championships, earning him the Male Athlete of the Week honors.
