There was plenty of excitement this week between baseball and softball playoffs and state track and field. With all the track and field athletes already receiving Athlete of the Week honors, it'll be the diamond stars taking home the recognition this week.

On the girls' side Wyalusing's Treanna Nickeson went 2-for-4 with three runs scored in the win over Williamson to propel the Rams into district finals, earning her the Female Athlete of the week.

For the boys Troy's Mason Smith and NEB's Nate Gross both had big performances in losses. Smith went 1-for-3 with two runs scored in the loss to Warrior Run, while Gross went 1-for-4 with a double and 3-RBI with a loss to CV. 

The two of them are the Male Co-Athletes of the Week.
