RALSTON — Canton Majors Softball fell to Athens, 22-2 in three innings, during the opening round of pool play action in District 15 Little League action.

It was 6-1 after one, with Athens tacking on five more runs in the second.

Athens out scored Canton 11-1 in the third for the win.

Lydia J (1-for-1) had an RBI as Parker H and Braelynn H scored the two runs.

Kennedy W went three innings with four strikeouts.

Canton will travel to Towanda on Friday with a 6 p.m. start.
