TUNKHANNOCK — NEBall Minors Softball dropped a 5-1 contest to Tunkhannock during District 33 pool play action Thursday.

Tunkhannock led 1-0 after one, then tacked on two more in the second. They would score a run in each of the third and fifth innings to take a 5-0 lead.

NEBall would get one across in the sixth to avoid the shutout.

Reese V (1-for-2) had a hit as Brooklyn B scored a run.

Martha E struck out 13 in the loss.

NEBall will host RTL on Tuesday with a 6 p.m. start.
