TROY — Troy Minors Baseball All-stars used a 10-run second inning to down Sayre, 19-4 in three innings, in District 15 pool play action Friday.

Troy led 4-0 after the first, with Sayre scoring four times in the top of the second to knot things up.

That's when Troy used a 10-run bottom half to take control of the game, then finished things off with a 5-run third.

Braxton Spencer (3-for-3) scored three times, and had 2-RBI to lead Troy as Colton Petris (1-for-3) had a home run with three runs scored, and 2-RBI.

Austin Blasz (2-for-2) had a double with two runs scored, and 2-RBI, as Clayton Morgan (2-for-2) rocked a triple with two runs scored, and 2-RBI.

Lincoln Bailey (1-for-1) had 2-RBI With a run scored with Jonas Schap (1-for-1), Carter Redline, and Drew Wheeler all scoring while driving gin a run.

Corban Breckinridge scored three times as Reed Hurlburt crossed home twice.

Petris started, going one inning with three strikeouts, while Schap went two innings with two strikeouts.

Troy will host Towanda on June 23 with a 6 p.m. start.
