WYALUSING — NEBall pounded out 10 hits as they handed RTL their first loss of district play, beating them 13-3 in five innings during the opening round of bracket play in District 33 Majors Softball action Sunday.

RTL will travel to Tunkhannock on Tuesday in an elimination game with the winner slated to play NEBall on Thursday.

Brooke Kolesar (2-for-3) had a pair of doubles, 3-RBI, and three runs scored for NEBall with Aliyah Kolesar (2-for-3) scoring three times.

Emma Eastabrook (2-for-3) had a double with 4-RBI, and a run scored, as Ellie Aldefer (2-for-4) had a double, a triple, and two runs scored.

Rileigh Crawford (1-for-3), and Laken Chapman (1-for-4) both scored, as Annalynn Eaton crossed home twice.

Mollie Callear went the first four innings, striking out seven, while Alderfer tossed the final inning with two strikeouts.

Fallon O'Connor (1-for-2) had a home run for RTL with Cassadee Benjamin (1-for-2), and Madelyn Sweeley (1-for-3) both scoring.

Carleigh Reynolds (1-for-2), and Mollee Warner (1-for-1) each had a hit as Aubri Brown, and Hadley Adams each drove in a run.

Warner struck out eight for RTL.
