WYSOX — Towanda lost to Wellsboro, 3-2, during District 15 Majors Softball elimination bracket action Tuesday.

It was 1-1 after one, with the teams also scoring a run each in the fourth. Wellsboro got the winning run in the top of the sixth.

Sloane Stevens (2-for-3) had a double with 2-RBI for Towanda as Brielle Pratt (1-for-3) also had a double with a run scored.

Nora Cashdollar (1-for-3) scored their other run, as Lily Strope (1-for-3), and Harper Reider (1-for-2) each had hits.

Stevens struck out three in the loss.

Towanda falls out of the bracket with the loss, but finishes top four in the district.
