TROY — Troy Majors Baseball used a 17-run second inning to pull away from Sayre, 18-1 in three innings, during bracket play action Friday.
It was 1-1 after one when Troy rolled out 17 runs.
Isaac Watson (2-for-2) had a double with 3-RBI and a run scored for Troy with Keegan Root (1-for-1) hitting a double with two runs scored, and an RBI.
Ecko Kolb (1-for-2) had a double with a run scored, and an RBI, as Jase Sheeley (1-for-3), and Wesley Wray (1-for-3) each had a run scored, and an RBI.
Brennan Scott (1-for-1) scored twice, and drove in a run as Ethan Kendall also scored twice with an RBI.
Connor Packard and Joshua Mueller both crossed home twice as River Barth scored twice, and drove in two runs.
Ezra Kolb (1-for-2) scored twice to round things out.
Wray struck out four in three innings of action.
