ATHENS — A bad third inning saw Troy fall to Athens, 14-0 in four innings, during District 15 Majors Baseball Elimination Bracket play Thursday.

Athens led 1-0 after one, then scored 13 in the third.

Wesley Wray (1-for-2) had Troy's lone hit.

Ecko Kolb went the first 2 1/3-innings with two strikeouts, followed by Ethan Kendall taking over. 

Jase Sheeley tossed the final two-thirds with two strikeouts.

Troy went 3-3 in district play.
