TOWANDA — A late inning outburst from Southern Tioga saw them best Towanda, 10-0 in five innings, during District 15 Minors Baseball bracket play Saturday.

Towanda hosts Troy on Monday in the elimination bracket semifinals.

It was 0-0 through three when Southern Tioga pushed five across in the fourth. They added five more in the fifth to get the win.

Cole Williams (1-for-2), Eric Towner (1-for-2), Rayden Bailey (1-for-2), Cole Spencer (1-for-1), and Maddox Hicks (1-for-2) all had hits for Towanda.

Williams started, and went 1 2/3-innings with four strikeouts, followed by Chase Lewis, who struck out one in 1 1/3-innings.

Spencer struck out two in one inning of work, as Greyson Irvine struck out one in two-thirds of an inning.
