LAWTON — RTL had a fast start but a 6-run fifth from Elk Lake saw them take the lead, and eventually the game, in a 12-8 win during District 33 Majors Baseball elimination bracket action.

RTL led 5-1 after one, and pushed their advantage to 7-1 after two.

That's when Elk Lake began their rally, scoring two runs in the third, then adding three more in the fourth to make it a 1-run game.

RTL got one back in the top half of the fifth, but then came Elk Lake's big bottom half to go up by four runs.

RTL was held scoreless in the sixth.

Weston Maines (3-for-3) had 2-RBI with a run scored for RTL as Cayden Benjamin (2-for-3) doubled, drove in two runs, and scored.

Emerson Clouse (1-for-2), Wesley Carr (1-for-2), and Parker Sands all scored twice with Jackson Case (1-for-3), and Forrest Fisk both driving in a run.

Jackson Brink (1-for-2), and Brantley Cron (1-for-2) each had a hit.

Clouse started, and went four innings with three strikeouts. Maines and Case would come on in in relief, but didn't record an out.

Benjamin got credit for the final inning.

RTL ends the season 3-2.
