EAST TROY — The Lewisburg Junior Softball team struck back on Wednesday, beating Troy 14-2 in five innings during Section III action.

The win sets up a winner-take-all on Thursday with a 5:30 p.m. start.

Blaklee Brown (2-for-2), and Lily Weaver (1-for-2) scored the two Troy runs, with Weaver hitting a double.

Mya Monroe (1-for-2) also had a hit.

Weaver started, and finished, the game, going 1 2/3-innings with two strikeouts. Brown tossed 2 1/3-innings in the middle, striking out two.

Lewisburg led 4-0 after one, then added two more runs in the second.

Troy pushed two across in the top half of the third to make it a 4-run game, but a 7-run bottom half from Lewisburg saw them take control.

They added another run in the fourth for the 12-run win.
