ATHENS — Towanda took second at the Athens Area Girls Junior High Summer Basketball League on Tuesday.

The Knights fell 35-30 to Athens in the title game. Towanda edged Troy 27-26 in the semifinals, while Athens rolled past Waverly (42-10) in the other semifinal.

Athens finishes the summer undefeated (12-0) while Towanda went 9-3.
