MIDDLETOWN — RTL Minors Baseball saw their season end as they fell to Selinsgrove, 16-10, in the  elimination bracket of the Section III Tournament.

It looked like Selinsgrove was going to pull away early. They scored a run in the top of the second, then added six more in the third, followed by three in the fourth to go up 10-0 midway through the fourth.

RTL wasn't going down without a fight, though, as they rallied with 9-runs in the bottom half of the fourth to make it a 1-run game.

Selinsgrove struck back with six runs in the fifth, then RTL added one more in the bottom half for the 16-10 final.

Bryson Warner and Huck Lambert (1-for-2) both scored twice with Dax Cogswell (1-for-3) and Matthew Shaffer (1-for-2) both scoring, and driving in a run.

Logan Otis drove in two runs while scoring once himself as Eli Howard (1-for-3), Kase Morningstar, and Thomas Insinger all crossed home.

Howard started, and went three innings to strike out two. Cogswell tossed 1 2/3-innings, followed by Otis going the final 1 1/3-innings.

RTL went 8-2 during their season.
