The Sports ReportsSAYRE — The Valley Storm Travel Softball program will be holding tryouts for its 18U, 14U, and 12U teams in the upcoming weeks.
The Valley Storm 18U team, coached by Valley Storm alum Hannah Bennett, will be holding a tryout Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Riverfront Park.
The 14U team will be hosting a tryout Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Riverfront Park, and Aug. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Towanda High School Field in Wysox.
The 14U team, coached by Curt Maynard and P.J. Davidson, will play in fall tournaments, the winter qualifiers, and the USSSA State and National tournaments.
For those who miss the tryout in Wysox, the 12U team will hold a tryout Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Riverfront Park, and Aug 1 at 10 a.m. at Riverfront Park.
The 12U team is coached by Stan Siberski and assistant coach and Valley Storm alum Aubrey Ennis.
