WAVERLY, N.Y. — Towanda boys golf stayed undefeated on the season, edging Athens by four strokes at Shepard Hills during NTL action Wednesday.

Towanda (21-0) shot 311 as the Wildcats (18-3) finished with a 315. 

Wellsboro (14-7) finished with 340, NP-Mansfield (13-8) tallied a 345, CV (9-12) notched a 359, Wyalusing (6-15) had 367 as a team, Canton (3-18) recorded a 394, and Sayre (0-21) finished with 400.

Three Knights went sub-80, led by Boom Thompson (74), Graham Welles (75) and Owen Savercool (79) rounded out their top three.

Jason Wickwire shot 83, Harper Welles  notched 85, and Baylee Clark finished with an 87.

Thompson had three birdies on the day - the par-4 13th, 16th and 18th holes, to go with 11 pars.

Welles also had three birdies - one on the par-5 eighth hole and 12th holes, plus one on the par-4 16th - to go with 10 pars.

Savercool had a birdie on the par-5 8th hole, plus 10 pars, as Wickwire had a pair of birdies - on the par-5 8th and the par-4 16th. He also had five pars.

Harper had a birdie on the par-5 ninth hole with five pars, as Clark finished with seven pars.
