WAVERLY, N.Y. — Canton's Levi Vermilya shot a career best 81 to lead the Warriors during NTL golf action at Shepard Hills on Wednesday.

Nobody else broke 100 as Canton (3-18) shot 394 to edge Sayre's (0-21) 400.

Towanda (21-0) won with a 311, just edging out Athens's (18-3) 315. 

Wellsboro (14-7) shot 340, NP-Mansfield (13-8) carded 345, CV (9-12) finished with 359, and Wyalusing (6-15) tallied 367.

Dierks Morgan shot 102, Garrett Parks had 105, Tommy Preston notched a 106, Gavin Sharp tallied a 107, and Teyton Thompson finished with a 108.

Vermilya had a birdie on the par-5 fifth hole to go with nine pars. 

Sharp also had a birdie, on the par-5 12th, with three pars.

Parks finished with five pars, Morgan had two, with Preston and Thompson each getting one.
