FOOTBALL
Athens at Wyalusing, 7 p.m.: The Rams welcome a Wildcats team with plenty of returnees, and high expectations on the season.
Montoursville at Troy, 7 p.m.: The Trojans get a tough test with the Warriors at Alparon Park.
CV at Canton, 7 p.m.: An extra home game for the Warriors they welcome a CV team coming off a playoff appearance.
Towanda at Sayre, 7 p.m.: The Knights travel to the Lockhart Street Bowl to open the season.
GIRLS SOCCER
Wyalusing vs Meadowbrook Christian at Montgomery Tournament, 3:30 p.m.: The Rams head south for the first round of the tournament as they take on MCA.
