MILTON — Wyalusing rebounded from their loss on Friday with an 8-0 win over CMVT during the consolation game of the Meadowbrook Christian Tournament during girls soccer action Saturday.

Wyalusing led 2-0 at the half, then pulled away in the second half with six goals.

Vayda Rought had four goals to lead Wyalusing with Lia Fischer scoring twice and assisting on one goal.

Lacee Warner and Jenna Morningstar each scored, with Alyssa Carter, Katelyn Trowbridge, and Storey Newell each getting an assist.

Wyalusing out shot CMVT 43-3 and had a 6-0 edge in corner kicks.

Sierra Gromley (five saves) and Aubri Davis (three saves) combined for the clean sheet.

Rought scored the first three goals off assists from Carter, Fischer, and Newell.

Fischer would net back to back goals, followed by Warner getting her first varsity goal.

Rought finished off the haul in the second half off a Katelyn Trowbridge assist.

Morningstar finished off the scoring.

Wyalusing (1-1) welcomes Wellsboro on Wednesday for their home opener.
