MIFFLINTOWN — Sullivan County girls soccer fell 5-1 in their opener to Juniata on Saturday.

Quinn Pennella had the Griffin goal off a Bailey Bogart assist.

It was 3-0 Juniata at the half, with them out scoring Sullivan 2-1 in the second half.

Charley Insinger had 16 saves for the Griffins.

Sullivan County will host South Williamsport on September 8.
