WELLSBORO — The NEB cross-country teams earned sweeps during NTL quad meet action against the Tioga County teams on Tuesday.

On the girls side NEB beat Wellsboro (23-32), NPM (20-35) and CV (23-32).

Panther Sophie Bennett (23:48) took second overall with Julia Laudermilch (24:49) in fifth. Ruth Laudermilch (25:49) came in seventh, Charlotte Martin (26:04) was eighth, and Riley Lamson (35:01) rounded out their top five in 14th.

Wellsboro's Lauren Kosek (23:21) won the race.

On the boys side NEB took five of the top six spots led by Jackson Martin (18:18) winning gold.

Levi Dewing (20:06) was third, Xavier Lockwood (20:41) came in fourth, Keagan Netherton (20:55) was fifth, and Josiah Russell (21:37) rounded out their top five in sixth.

The Panthers defeated Wellsboro (15-47), NPM (19-42), and CV (15-50).
