GOLF: TOWANDA BOYS EARN SPLIT AGAINST WELLSBORO, CV (2026-09-02)

WESTFIELD — Towanda boys golf suffered their first loss of the season as they split an NTL ti-match with Wellsboro and CV on Tuesday.

Wellsboro (160) edged out Towanda (162) while CV (167) wasn't far behind in the 9-hole contest.

Boom Thompson shot 38 to lead the Knights with Graham Welles carding a 39.

Owen Savercool shot 41, with Harper Welles and Baylee Clark both getting 44. Jason Wickwire rounded out the team with a 51.

Thompson finished with two birdies - one on the par-5 11th, and another on the par-5 17th - to go with four pars.

Savercool had a birdie on the par-3 16th to go with four pars, while Graham Welles parred six of the nine holes.

Harper Welles, Wickwire, and Clark all had three pars each.

The girls team shot 141 led by Olivia Heath's 45. Rosie Glantz tallied 47, Izzy Repsher had a 49, Payton Perry notched a 50, Gemma Brown had a 58, and Laura Glantz carded a 63 in her first varsity action.

Repsher had a birdie on the par-4 11th with Perry getting a birdie on the par-5 17th.

Heath had two pars with Rosie Glantz and Repsher each getting one.
