MONTOURSVILLE — Towanda suffered their first setback of the season, falling 3-2 to Montoursville during non-league volleyball action Saturday.

The Knights took the first two sets 25-15 and 25-22 but then saw the Warriors rattle off three straight wins - 25-9, 25-19, and 15-10 - to take the match.

Karis Flynn had 24 points, 20 assists, nine digs, and two kills for Towanda as Kendall Kellogg notched 13 points, seven kills, and seven digs.

Addison Barrett added six kills, one block, two digs, and four points, with Hannah Crawford getting seven points, four kills, two assists, and one block.

Lariah Long finished with 11 points, six kills, and 12 digs, as Brynsen Vargason added 14 digs, three points, and a kill.

Kylee Barnes tallied three kills, one block, and one dig, as Ali Hollett notched seven points, three digs, five assists, and a kill.

JV got the win, 25-8 and 25-16.

Addison Aquilio had 13 points, five aces, one assist, and two digs for Towanda with Maddy Nash getting nine points, six aces, three kills, and four digs.

Emma Space finished with seven points, two aces, two kills, and a block, as Addy Jankowsky notched for points, two kills, two assists, and two digs.

Sadie Overpeck had 10 points, three aces, and two digs, with Sam Hartigan adding for points, two digs, one ace, and one assist.
