ROME — NEB scored five second half goals as they pulled away from Williamson, 6-0, during NTL girls soccer action Saturday.

Emilie Maynard had two goals to lead the Panthers, with Lizzie Stanton, Mallorie Maynard, Aurelia Kolesar, and Katrina Russell all scored.

Stanton had two assists, with Kara Dughi and Maggie Gray also getting a helper.

It was 1-0 at the half as Stanton scored two minutes in.

It stayed that way until the 30 minute mark of the second half when Emilie Maynard got her first career goal. She would score five minutes later off a Gray assist for a 3-0 lead.

With 18 minutes to go Kolesar scored off a Dughi assist to make it 4-0.

Less than a minute later Mallorie Maynard scored, then with 13 minutes to go Russell nabbed her goal.

NEB out shot Williamson 20-7 and had a 6-0 edge in corner kicks.

Maggie Chappell made five saves in net to get the clean sheet.
