TOWANDA — Towanda fell 2-1 to Athens during NTL girls soccer action Saturday.

Athens led 1-0 at the half, with Towanda knotting things up behind an Ellie Cook goal.

Delanie Patton scored the game winner with 13 minutes to go for the Wildcats.

Athens out shot Towanda 15-8.

Mya Maynard made 17 saves for the Knights.
