Canton (2-1) brings in Wellsboro (2-1) for their annual Saturday afternoon game with a 1 p.m. kick-off.

The Warriors are coming off a big win over Wyalusing last week as they play their fourth straight home game.

"It's nice to be 2-1 after the first three games," Canton coach Tyler Sechrist said.

The Hornets are coming off a loss to Loyalsock last week, with both teams getting wins over CV.

"Wellsboro is a good football team that has played some quality opponents the first three weeks of the season," Sechrist said. "They are a well coached team and will be ready to play Saturday afternoon."

Canton is still a young team, but those youngsters have started to step up, something Sechrist is excited to see.

"It is really exciting to see some of our young players get an opportunity to shine under the Friday night lights," he said. "So for this season they have made the most of every opportunity they have had to play."

KEYS TO THE GAME

Wellsboro - Slow down Canton's pass attack. In their two wins the Warriors have done a good job through air keeping teams off balanced and spreading the ball around. 

Canton - Slow down Griffin Morral. He accounts for nearly 400 yards between passing and running, with four touchdowns on the season.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Christian Main, Wellsboro, WR - Main leads the team in receiving with 11 catches for 191-yards and one touchdown.

Rylan Wesneski, Canton, WR - The big play threat from last week, Wesneski had five catches on the season, two of them for touchdowns, for 96-yards total.
