ATHENS — Athens broke open a close game with four second half goals as they defeated NEB, 5-0, in NTL boys soccer action Saturday.

It was 1-0 at the half, then the Wildcats scored four in the second half, including three in the last 17 minutes, to pull away.

Athens out shot NEB 8-3 and had a 3-0 edge in corner kicks.

Chris Rought made two saves in net for the Panthers.
