SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — NEB volleyball got their first win of the season as they pulled out a 3-2 road victory over South Williamsport on Monday.

It was tight throughout with South taking a 25-23 first set win. NEB fought back with a 25-22 second set victory, followed by a Mountie 28-26 win in the third set.

The final two sets NEB found their stride, winning the fourth 25-18, and then the fifth 15-9.

Orissa Gardner had 25 points, 10 kills, seven aces, and two digs, with Summer Morris getting 16 kills, 10 points, and one ace.

Brianna Pelka had 10 kills, and a block, as Onaleigh Gardner finished with eight kills, eight points, and two digs.

Adalynn Burgert had nine points, 15 assists, one dig, and one kill, as Ella Cooley had 14 assists, and three points.

Allie Kuhn finished with seven points, seven digs, and two aces, with Cora Pousen adding an ace and two points, and Dailee Gow getting three digs.
