TOWANDA — Towanda fell to Wellsboro, 4-1, during NTL girls soccer action Tuesday.

It was 3-0 Hornets at the half while the Knights played them to a 1-1 draw in the second.

Ellie Cook had the Black Knight goal off a Mya Maynard assist. Haylie Smith had a hat trick for Wellsboro.

The Hornets had a 16-10 edge in shots, with Towanda's Maynard getting 15 saves in net.
