
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — NEB’s Kamden Ricci took sixth at the South Williamsport Mountaineer Tournament on Saturday.
Ricci (285) went 1-3, while Kolton Keir (106) and Dominic Clark (189) both went 1-2, as Nathan Billings (138) finished 0-2.
Ricci opened the day with a fall over Sugar Valley’s David Allison in 2:26, but then lost to Williamson’s Kade Sottolano by fall in 45 seconds in the semifinals. In the consolation semifinals he fell 2-0 to Dieruff’s Gregorio Soto, then in the fifth place match Montrose’s Derrick DeMann pinned him in 1:19.
Keir got a fall over Sugar Valley’s Kylee Hill in 50 seconds, but lost to Williamson’s Wyatt Dacheux by fall in 47 seconds, and to South’s Kaden Shay in by fall in 57 seconds.
Clark pinned Pleasant Valley’s Samuel Martin in 3:15 for his win, but was pinned by Sugar Valley’s Cayden Weaver in 1:25, and by Sugar Valley’s Colten Etters in 39 seconds.
Billings lost by fall to Wellsboro’s Silas Mickey by fall in 3:43, and to Montrose’s Dylan Geertgens by fall in 11 seconds.
The Panthers will face Troy on Monday.
