
TURBOTVILLE - Troy had a strong start, then used a 23-9 second quarter run to pull away from Warrior Run, 69-30, during non-league boys’ basketball action Monday.
Ty Barrett netted 25 points to go with two steals for the Trojans, while Ethan VanNoy added 13 points, three assists, and two steals.
Mason Imbt finished with eight points, seven rebounds, and three steals, with Justice Chimics netting seven points.
Lance Heasley chipped in with six points, three rebounds, and four blocks, with Charles Oldroyd scoring four points. Evan Woodward had two points, and three rebounds, as Colin Loveland, and JB Burbage rounded things out with two points.
Devin Selleck grabbed four boards in the contest.
Troy used three 3-pointers to open a 17-5 first quarter lead, then in the second Barrett netted 11 points, with VanNoy adding five, to give them a 40-14 halftime lead.
Barrett scored 11 more points in the third quarter to give them a 59-24 advantage, while, in the fourth, Heasley and Oldroyd had four points each.
The Trojans host Towanda on Wednesday.
