One of the last busy days of the spring sports season, with the NTL Division-I title on the line.
SOFTBALL
Wellsboro (6-10) at Wyalusing (11-3), 4:30 p.m.: A Wyalusing win or NPL loss to Athens clinches the league title for the Rams, while the Hornets are still technically alive for a playoff berth.
Canton (11-4) at Williamson (3-10), 4:30 p.m.: Canton pulled away to win the first match-up of the Warriors, and will look to pick up another win here.
Troy (4-9) at Towanda (4-10), 4:30 p.m.: Two teams that feature a lot of young talent, the first one was won in a walk-off by the Trojans, so this one could have some fireworks, too.
BASEBALL
Canton (9-8) at Williamson (5-11), 4:30 p.m.: One more win and Canton is in the district playoffs, though, it looks like, no matter what they do, they’ll be on the road. They pulled away to beat Williamson the first time.
Troy (6-8) at Towanda (2-15), 4:30 p.m.: Troy won the first match-up at home last month, and will be looking to get a win here in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. The young Knights will be trying to build some momentum for next season.
Wellsboro (10-4) at Wyalusing (15-0), 4:30 p.m.: The first one went down to the wire, with both teams needing the win to hold their spots in the district standings.
NEB (5-9) at Benton (9-3), 4:30 p.m.: NEB gets their shot at the top ranked team in the district for Class A during this non-league contest.
TRACK & FIELD
Canton, NEB, Towanda at Wyalusing, 4 p.m.: Plenty of local talent will be on display for this last NTL meet of the season. It’s also the final tune-up before NTLs on Friday.
BOYS’ TENNIS
District IV Singles Tournament at Williamsport: The first three rounds were moved from last Saturday due to rain, but should have plenty of sunshine this time.
