Northern Tier Sports ReportWAVERLY, N.Y. — The NTL football coaches descended on the Club at Shepard Hills on Wednesday for the annual media day.
Nine of the 13 league teams had representation - Canton, Troy, Towanda, Wellsboro, NP-Mansfield, CV, Athens, Sayre, and Northwest - along with New York teams Tioga and Waverly.
There was a bit of a shadow hanging over the proceedings due to the uncertainty with Sayre, and it was announced after that the Redskins wouldn’t be fielding a varsity football team - just JV and junior high.
