NTL BOYS' SOCCER: ATHENS' CAMPBELL HEADLINES BC ALL-STAR TEAM (2022-11-23)

Athens had another standout season on the boys’ soccer pitch, while the rest of the Bradford County teams continued to build their programs.

Alex Campbell anchored the Wildcat defense, and is the Player of the Year.


His teammate Korey Miller lead their offense, and is the Offensive Player of the Year.


Fellow Wildcat Marcos Quiros added a spark on the field, and is the Newcomer of the Year.


And Athens coach Jake Lezak continues to win year in and year out, and is this year’s Coach of the Year.


NEB’s Joe Stanton is the Defensive Player of the Year for leading a tough Panthers backline.


The first team consists of Campbell, Miller, Quiros, and Brayden Post from Athens, Joe Stanton, Cesar Alvarez, and Brendon Allen from NEB, Connor Barnes and Mike West (goalie) from Towanda, and Brady Spalding and Ethan Cole from Troy.


The second team consists of Athens’ Mitch Hamilton, Dash Bishop, and Matt Driesbaugh, NEB’s Josh Stanton and Westin Perkins, Towanda’s Talen Irish, Jack Wheaton, and Logan Lambert, and Troy’s Ben Randall, Hart Houseknecht, and Eli Randall (goalie).


The All-Newcomers team is Quiros, Troy’s Landin Jenkins, Towanda’s Charlie Mignano, and NEB’s Brennin Thoman, Eli Stanton, Cody Strauss, Carson Perkins, and Gavin Puza.
